A Virtual Geography of Healthcare | What Happens When the Physical Landscape Changes?

As the world grasps at answers to the global pandemic of COVID-19, we have come to realize that we will indeed see many shifts past the pandemic. As Professor Mohan Sawhney at the Kellogg School of Management (where I received my MBA) put it recently in a LinkedIn article, “A single theme underlies these behavioral shifts – the increased use of digital and physical networks to access people, products, and places.“
I couldn’t agree more that there will be a silver lining in all of this. These shifts won’t come from putting new wrappers around old processes, however, they will come from completely rethinking the very foundations of how and why we do what we do, not just in healthcare but beyond. | To Be Continued…
